The St. Charles Writers Group is a workshop for novice or experienced writers that meets the second and the fourth Saturday of each month. The group is open to all those 18 years of age or older looking for a community of writers and seeking to improve their writing. All genres are welcome.
June marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of architech Frank Lloyd Wright. Recent popular books such as Nancy Horan's Loving Frank have sparked new interest in Wright. Learn about Wright himself and his architecture in the Midwest and elsewhere in this slide lecture. Jeff Mishur, of Art Excursions, Inc., will address the period covered by Horan's novel as well as subsequent periods in Wright's career. REGISTER
