Judith Bugh has been a resident of St. Charles for over twenty years. Although not an artist by profession, she has taken numerous drawing and painting courses during the past ten years. Most recently she has studied with Rebecca Moore at the DuPage Art League.
Judith’s paintings have been juried into the Norris Gallery’s Watercolor Exhibitions for over four years, and into the past three Liturgical and Sacred Arts Exhibitions in Springfield, Illinois. Her work has also been shown at the Campbell House Art Exhibits.
Many of Judith’s paintings have a spiritual dimension, and are inspired by her Christian faith and her appreciation of the beauty of Creation. Her paintings contain bright and pure colors reflecting her optimism and love of life.
Recent paintings contain materials to provide textures, with metallic overtones.
The paintings with their titles are designed to encourage the viewer to contemplate both the paintings and the concepts depicted. |
