My work is a culmination of my experiences with the natural landscape. I have been deeply affected by extensive visits to some of the most beautiful, remote, dangerous, tranquil, violent, and ominous locations on earth.
I am fascinated with the power of the circle. The circle can be many things. The circle can be a symbol of infinity or femininity. The circle can be static or dynamic. The circle can be beautiful and ugly simultaneously. The circle can be stable and unstable. This form juxtaposed into my landscapes expresses my thoughts about renewal, depletion, destruction, death, and balance.
