Career Online High School

Career Online High School (COHS) is a program to earn a high school diploma provided by the St. Charles Public Library for adults who are at least 21 years old and reside within the St. Charles Library District.

The courses are 100% online and allow you to complete the fully accredited 18-month curriculum on a schedule that works for you. If you completed some high school coursework previously, you may be able to transfer in credits to help you earn your diploma faster.

To get started, fill out the COHS Readiness Survey, and our COHS staff will send you a link to the prerequisite course that will allow you to see if the online format is a good fit for you. Complete the course within two weeks, and we’ll schedule an interview with you to talk about your next steps to join the program.
