Youth Services: Infant - Grade 8

Mission Statement

Your Library plays a very important and active role in encouraging and developing an interest in lifelong literacy and learning. The goal of Youth Services is to serve the child, infant-age 5; student, grades K-8; and adult by providing and maintaining a collection of materials, offering assistance in readers services, retrieving information, and presenting programs to stimulate reading.

July 28, 2014 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Meet the birds up close as Mark Spreyer, Executive Director of Stillman Nature Center, introduces you to owls and their habitat. This environmental education event will include three or more owls.

July 29, 2014 - 9:30am

Storytellers will present stories and songs that will tickle, delight and amuse. Children and adults attend together. To ensure an enjoyable story experience for everyone attending, each session will have a capacity of 40 children and adults.

It’s all about reading aloud to a four-legged friend—a specially-trained therapy dog. Bring your books or select from ours and read aloud for 15 minutes. Please review guidelines on our website prior to registering.
