Meeting Rooms

The St. Charles Public Library provides meeting rooms as a limited public forum to support its informational, educational and recreational mission and roles. The Library will not discriminate in making its premises available for use on the basis of viewpoints expressed by users or the race, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, political affiliations or physical limitations of its users. Use of the meeting rooms does not constitute sponsorship or endorsement of the users or the users’ beliefs by the St. Charles Public Library or the Board of Library Trustees.

Priority is given to Library Board of Trustee-sponsored meetings, followed by Library-sponsored meetings or programs. The following groups may also use meeting rooms:

  • Official agencies and board of governments serving the residents of the Library District
  • Local community service groups
  • Businesses located in the Library District for non-commercial use.
  • Non-profit groups (must have proof of non-profit status in the state of Illinois)

Available Meeting Rooms

Huntley Meeting Room
1,273 square feet
Room capacity: full room: 90 people (theatre style); 70 people (tables & chairs)
Room capacity: half room: 50 people (theatre style); 36 people (tables & chairs)
$5 for kitchen use

Carnegie Community Room
1,420 square feet with 190 square foot stage
Room capacity: 90 people
* Equipment available 

Bisbee Conference Room
356 square feet
Room capacity: 12 people
