The St. Charles Public Library has five study rooms, available during regular Library hours. These provide an ideal space for individuals or small groups to collaborate or work on projects. Please contact the Welcome Desk at 630-584-0076 ext. 210 to inquire about availability. You can manage your room bookings at: scpld.libnet.info/myreservationsTo cancel a reservation, please enter your last name and reservation reference number into the boxes to cancel or view your reservation.

  • These rooms may be reserved for free by people high school age and older.
  • Study room use is limited to a two-hour time period per day. Due to the high demand for study rooms, time limits are strictly enforced.
  • Reservations may be made up to one week in advance or on a walk-in basis, depending on room availability.
  • Study room reservations are released for “no shows” after 15 minutes into the reservation time.
  • An ID, such as a driver’s license, State ID, or Student ID, is required when you pick up the study room key at the Welcome Desk.
  • Food is not allowed in study rooms.
  • Study room users should refrain from putting anything on the walls and windows of the room and from blocking visibility into the room.
  • There is a separate study room for students and tutors of our Literacy Volunteer program. This room includes a 42” flat panel display and a 10’ white board.
