I liked the action in the book. I thought it was cool how they could talk into each other's minds.

Vibrant colors, dynamic illustrations, and active, rhythmic language make this a great read aloud choice for dinosaur lovers. The author manages to make even the herbivores sound tough by the way their 'chomping' is portrayed. The colors and sharp contrasts make the dinosaurs seem to almost leap from the page. This is a great picture book for preschool dinosaur lovers, especially those who like to be rowdy.

Julian is great story teller. He can make people believe just about anything. His little brother, Huey, hears a lot of these stories. There's the one about the cats that come in the mail. And the one about growing taller if you eat leaves right off the tree. Some stories are just plain trouble, which is where Julian and Huey end up, a lot!
