Humphrey is delighted with his life as class hamster in room 26. The kids are fun. He gets to learn to read and write. Ms. Mac takes him home every weekend, and they have adventures together. Then the 'unsqueakable' occurs: Ms. Mac leaves the class, and Mrs. Brisbane resumes her role as teacher. Suddenly, Humphrey is stuck in a class with a teacher who hates rodents! Humphrey is a smart hamster, though, and he figures out how to solve a lot of problems on his own. He may even find a way to help the humans in his class with some of their problems. Hamster lovers will enjoy this tale of a friendly hamster and his adventures.
