River's dream is to play for the WNBA, the Women's National Basketball Association. When a scout for the WBNA shows up, holding tryouts for a 6th grade girls' team to compete in a regional tournament, River sees her chance. The best player on this team will win a free place in a basketball camp run by no one other than Emily Hargraves, last year's WNBA MVP. River fails to make the A-Team, however, and is stuck on the B-Team, with a crowd of misfits, like the girl who is scared of the ball. The B-Team will play in the tournament, though, with the same chance to win the prize. Can River turn her team of misfits into a team of winners?
