Everyone hopes their birthday wish will come true. Igraine's brother wants to be a magician like their parents. He could care less about knights and all those codes of chivalry. But that is exactly what Igraine wants, dreams, and wishes for - to be the best knight ever. Never mind that she is a girl and only eleven, almost twelve. Everything changes on her birthday - she gets a very special suit of armor, her parents become pigs when a spell is said wrong, and then the castle comes under siege. Her brother Albert takes charge, even though his magic skills are still in the beginner's stage, and Igraine is sent on a mission to retrieve giant's hair to reverse the spell on their parents.
