Joey Pigza is wired. He can't sit still. He can't stop himself from shouting 'Can I get back to you on that?' in response to math questions. He can't stop himself from putting his finger in the pencil sharpener. The moment something occurs to him, he tries it. This gets him into loads of trouble. He can only stop himself when his medication works, which is only sometimes. Taking life at a sprint is taking its toll, and when one of his spontaneous decisions leads to a classroom accident, Joey must suffer the consequences. Can he turn things around and show the world that he really is a good kid?
