Within 2 months of their mothers' death in a car accident, Ben, Dylan and Gerry are uprooted from everything they have ever known when their father decides to sell their house and announces that they will live on board a sailboat and cruise the Bahamas for the next year. Their trip starts fairly smoothly sailing around a few more populated islands to get their 'feet wet'. But things start to spiral out of control when Dad comes up with the idea to set a course for Bermuda and disappears overboard during his evening watch. Soon after discovering that their dad is missing a fierce Atlantic storm hits the boat. Will the boys ever find their father? Can they survive the storm?
