Erin and her science partner, Tiffany, set out on a trek in the woods near their California home, to search for animal tracks for a school project. It soon becomes apparent to Tiffany, that they are looking for something more. Erin's 16-year-old babysitter, Amy, has disappeared, and she had mentioned a cabin in the woods. During a snowstorm, the two Girl Scout dropouts become lost in the snow-covered Sierra Mountains, and their lives depend on their survival skills.
