In the future, the sea level has risen so that the whole east coast has become submerged. Dry land has become a premium. Living space is scarce and food is scarcer. A small group of brave pioneers have settled the sea floor, harvesting seaweed and fish to feed the multitudes that live topside. Ty was the first child actually born subsea. He is much more comfortable underwater than he is in the open air. Then he meets Gemma, an orphan from Above. Gemma is searching for her long lost brother. Throw in desperate outlaws who wont' hesitate to plunder, vandalize or even kill; a government bent on keeping the farmers oppressed and kids with some very unusual abilities and you have one gripping adventure.
