Odd Boy Out: Young Albert Einstein

Don Brown (2004), 32 pages
Audience: K - 5th Grade
You've probably heard of Albert Einstein, but you may not know much about him. Albert was always a little different. He was smart, that's for sure, but also odd. He had a temper, and he did NOT get along with his little sister. As Albert grew up, he had trouble in school. His brain just worked a little differently. But Albert was always curious, and always trying to figure things out. His ideas would make him famous, and would lead to the inventions of all sorts of things that we use today. This biography doesn't try to explain all of the complicated things that Einstein thought about, but it will give you a good idea of what he was like.
