Getting Away with Murder
Audience: 7th Grade - 8th Grade
The 1955 kidnapping, and murder, of 14-year-old Emmett Till, in Mississippi, is famous as a catalyst for the Civil Rights Movement. Chris Crowe investigates the crime, and its aftermath, as well as the dramatic court trial, and places it into the context of the Civil Rights Movement.
