Baby Duck hates the rain. Her feathers get all wet, and her feet get all muddy. On her way with her mother and father to have pancakes with Grandfather Duck, she makes up a song about how much she hates the rain. At Grandfather's house, she learns that her mother hated rain, too. Grandfather gives Baby her mother's old boots and umbrella and shows her how much fun rain can be. This is a series of books that show a warm relationship between Baby and Grandfather.
