Willie lives on the North Side of Chicago with dreams of becoming a 'Major Leaguer'. That is until he is told that, 'It's all about the color of your skin and yours is the wrong color.' Willie's dream of playing with his good friend in the Major League is crushed. That is until he gets to go see a baseball game between the Negro Leaguers and the Major Leaguers where his dream of becoming a Major League baseball player is rekindled.
