In this follow up to Dragon Slippers, Creel continues on with her adventures. The Dragon Wars are over and Creel becomes bored with her life as a seamstress and proprietor of a successful dressmaking shop. When word comes that dragons are being enslaved in a neighboring country, Creel joins an expedition to investigate matters. Once they realize that the dragons are being readied for an invasion, events take a serious turn. But Creel is reunited with her favorite dragon Shardas and with Prince Luka, and proves her bravery yet again. Will they be able to set the dragons free before there is another war?
