Sam is a natural leader on the football field, and he loves the position of quarterback. For years, he has played with his best friends in their backyards, and now that they are starting seventh grade, he will finally be able to start organized football. In tryouts, however, the pressure is too high, and he can't perform the way he does with his friends. Two other boys beat him out for the position of quarterback, and Sam loses hope that he can ever prove that he's the right quarterback for the team. When their team keeps losing, Sam becomes determined to turn it around. Will he find a way to make it right?
