Your Library plays a very important and active role in encouraging and developing an interest in lifelong literacy and learning.
The goal of Youth Services is to serve the child, infant-age 5; student, grades K-8; and adult by providing and maintaining a collection of materials, offering assistance in readers services, retrieving information, and presenting programs to stimulate reading.

	Book Magic Kindergartners Tuesday, May 21   •   4:00–4:45 p.m. •   How Do We Get There? An afternoon story romp with books, storytelling, poetry, songs and more. Register for one or all. REGISTER
	View Point Grades 6-8 Thursday, May 30, 4:00–4:45 p.m.  The Goats by Cole Brock Laura and Howie, two misfits at summer camp, are stripped of their clothes as a joke and left for the night on an island in the middle of a lake.  Once they realize that they are the “goats,” they decide to play a practical joke of their own. What will everyone think if they never go back to camp? REGISTER
	Join a Summer Reading Book Club! Register in Youth Services beginning Wednesday, May 29. The sooner you register the more time you will have to read books and reach your goals. Visit the Library soon. Are you ready to have fun this summer reading books and getting great rewards? All you have to do is REGISTER for a book club, read, listen or download books and check-in with your book log at the Library.
	Museum Adventure Pass NEW! Legoland Discovery Center, located in Schaumburg, Illinois has joined the Museum Adventure Pass Program. Check-out a museum adventure pass with your St. Charles Library card! A limited number of passes for each participating museum will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. More information.
