The 60-minute interactive workshop combines two Electives that explore ways information is concealed and also provides an overview of how to get a Library card and handle books. |

Leader Requirements:
- Each Scout and adult should wear a nametag with name written in dark marker.
- Please refer to your Scout manual for details on the remaining points needed to complete required work.
It’s A Secret
- Codes, secret languages, and sign language are explored through demonstration and with hands-on activities.
Books, Books, Books
- A Library card is the key to using the Library. The importance of books, how to handle them, and how to create a book jacket is reviewed. Includes a Library Hunt with Scouts using clues to identify areas in the Youth Services Department. Everyone gains knowledge and becomes more familiar with the Library resources, services, and collections.
