The 60-minute interactive workshop combines three Achievements and one Elective to provide an historical look at St. Charles, how communication works, and an overview of the Library focusing on the special JR Reader Collection. |

Leader Requirements:
- Each Scout and adult should wear a nametag with name written in dark marker.
- Please refer to your Scout Manual for details on the remaining points needed to complete required work.
Making My Family Special
- Family life now and then will be explored through a historical look at St. Charles and the Library.
Where I Live
- The St. Charles map on the big screen will provide a unique way to look at and explore St. Charles.
How I Tell It
- Several different ways to communicate will be presented and demonstrated. The importance of being respectful will also be discussed.
Reading Fun
- Scouts will be introduced to the JR Reader collection, learn how to find books, and discover how much fun reading can become.
