PICTURE BOOK CLASSICS

What makes a book a classic? Story line? Illustrations? Language? That indefinable “something”? These wonderful read-aloud books have delighted children through the years. Some are relatively new, and some are books parents will remember reading as children. Most authors listed have written many books so be sure to enjoy their other titles. Titles found in the sections listed below are arranged alphabetically by author or by call number.
